Making the Internet accessible to all
- After testing various systems and discarding the
numerous unsatisfactory offerings our project began in
Lewes, East Sussex in April 2007 when we set up
some of the first Meraki units in the country.
Within a year we had in excess of 130 Meraki Pro
transceivers in operation and a regular client base.
- More importantly the Meraki system has enabled us to
connect many people to the internet who would otherwise
not been able to get online. Working with local
associations, charities and local bodies plus of course
individuals we have been able to build not only a wifi
network but also a social network which delivers
accessibility, training and IT support.
- The work we are doing is now expanding. Some of our
curent networks can be seen from the links at the top of
this page
